The Atlanta Falcons are expected to speak with former Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski for their head coaching vacancy, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter. Stefanski was fired by the Browns on Monday after missing the playoffs in back-to-back years.

Prior to that, Stefanski was named NFL Coach of the Year in both 2020 and 2023. The offensive guru went 45-56 over his six seasons as the head coach of the Browns. According to Schefter, the New York Giants and the Tennessee Titans are also expected to meet with Stefanski.

Atlanta has plenty of talent on offense and Stefanski's ability to coach up the quarterback position would be a huge bonus for Falcons QB Michael Penix Jr.

The Falcons have reportedly requested interviews with Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver. The team is also expected to bring on former Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan in a key front office role.
