So the Los Angeles Rams had quite the afternoon. The organization, already high on prognosticators' boards to get to the Super Bowl, pulled off a trade on Monday, June 1 for the most diabolical defensive talent in the NFL, Myles Garrett.
The Rams will send edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and additional draft compensation to the Browns in exchange for Garrett. The trade was confirmed by USA TODAY Sports' Tyler Dragon. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the trade is not yet official.
Just over two years removed from celebrating Rams legend Aaron Donald's final game, the team once again adds a defensive star to the mix.
The Rams are all-in on this upcoming season, and the football world reacted accordingly.
