LOS ANGELES — Drew Brees was knocked out of the New Orleans Saints' NFC title game rematch against the Los Angeles Rams due to an injured hand. Brees did not return to the Saints' 27-9 loss to the Rams.

Brees exited the game after being hit by Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

The Saints quarterback was relieved by Teddy Bridgewater, who opened the team’s third possession against the Rams.

Brees completed three of five passes for 38 yards, with an interception, on the first two Saints drives before giving way to Bridgewater.

Bridgewater completed three of four passes on his first drive of the game, but the Saints punted.
