Marshawn Lynch celebrates Seahawks Super Bowl win in Nike ad: 'Tastes good'
Jacob CamenkerThe Seattle Seahawks earned their second Lombardi by beating the New England Patriots 29-13 in Super Bowl 60. One of the first people to congratulate them for the victory was Marshawn Lynch.
Lynch – who was part of the Seahawks' Super Bowl 48-winning team – was featured in a Nike ad congratulating Seattle for beating the Patriots.
The theme of the advertisement? Lynch seemed revenge-minded as the message "Bitter Tastes Sweet" was plastered across the screen at the end of his monologue.

"I ain't even gonna hold," Lynch said. "Bitter is an acquired taste. That's how you know its not for everybody. But the real ones know where that flavor is. When you get to the bottom of that mug, when there ain't nothing left but that grit, that's where you really appreciate that grind. Because nothing tastes as good as getting your lick back."
The Seahawks famously lost to the Patriots 28-24 in Super Bowl 49 – their last appearance in the championship game before Super Bowl 60 – after Russell Wilson threw an interception to Malcolm Butler on the goal-line in the game's final minute.
Seattle's final offensive play of the contest came under much scrutiny, as many wondered why coach Pete Carroll and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell eschewed an opportunity to run with Lynch, with plenty of time remaining to get off multiple plays.
Naturally, Lynch's ad is referencing the bitterness of that close defeat and celebrating the sweet nature of the Seahawks' revenge, which came with their shellacking of the Patriots in Super Bowl 60.
"Tastes good, don't it?" Lynch said, to close the ad.
