PGA Tour FedEx Cup: The shake-up after the Palmer Invitational, heading into The Players
Sepp Straka is back in the saddle again, as the FedEx Cup points leader
Straka’s tie for fifth on March 9 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational was good enough to regain the lead he had held since after AT&T Pebble Beach Invitational and before Ludvig Åberg took the lead by winning the Genesis Invitational.
Åberg, who tied for 22nd at Bay Hill, fell to third place and API winner Russell Henley went from 17th to second with his victory and 700 points.

The biggest mover of the week in the Palmer Invitational was Byeong Hun An, who tied for eighth and leapt 61 spots.
Karl Vilips made the most rapid ascent of any PGA Tour player with his victory at the Puerto Rio Open. Even though it was for less than half of the points Henley got (300), Vilips went from 161s to 35th on the points list and more importantly made the field for The Players Championship this week, where 750 points will be awarded to the winner.
The Players starts on Thursday at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass.
The PGA Tour offers 750 points to the winner of The Players and the four majors, the Masters, PGA Championship, U.S. Open and British Open.
