Trying to snag last-second Masters tickets? Sadly you're a bit too late to the game, at least if you want legitimate tickets.
It's not easy getting into the Masters, whether you're a player or a patron. Only about 90 of the world's best golfers get to test their mettle at the year's first and most famous major, and Augusta National Golf Club is famously stringent on who can get in among the babbling streams, blooming azaleas and chirping birds. Secondhand ticketing sites are not permitted for entrance, meaning the only way in is through the official Masters website.
That doesn't mean it's impossible to get in to see Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and company with a third-party ticket, but even if you wanted to try, you're paying more than $10,000 for the cheapest ticket that might not even work. It's probably best to test the official lottery for the 2027 Masters, though that comes with its own challenges.

Here's what you need to know about buying tickets to the Masters:
When is the Masters 2027?
The Masters takes place each year in the first full week of April. In 2027, that's April 8-11. The Augusta National Women's Amateur will get the annual festivities started with its third and final round on the course Saturday, April 3, followed by the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals on Sunday, April 4. The Masters practice rounds follow Monday and Tuesday, April 5-6, with the Par 3 Contest serving as the final warmup Wednesday, April 7.
Where can I buy tickets for Masters 2027?
There's only one place to get official Masters tickets: through Augusta National Golf Club. The Masters does not accept any tickets acquired from secondhand markets. If you're caught using an unofficial ticket to get in, you risk being kicked out of the event.
Patrons hoping to land tickets have to enter the annual lottery at Masters.com for a chance to get into the practice rounds, Par 3 Contest or the tournament proper.
How can I apply for Masters tickets in 2027?
The Masters lottery for 2027 is open June 1-20. Those interested in entering must log onto or create an account at the Masters ticket website at that time. Once they've done that, potential patrons can choose their desired ticket package and wait for the Masters to send notifications to who has been awarded tickets.
You can increase your chances of getting into Augusta by applying for tickets for the Augusta National Women's Amateur, which holds its final round on the fabled course the Saturday before the Masters, or the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals the Sunday before the main event.
