September's round of 2026 World Cup qualifiers continues on Sunday, Sept. 7 with eight European matches and one game in Africa's qualification.

Reigning European champion Spain faces a tough trip to Turkey, while Germany faces Northern Ireland, the Netherlands visits Lithuania and Belgium hosts Kazakhstan in some of the more high-profile UEFA matchups.

Germany is coming off a shocking loss to Slovakia and manager Julian Nagelsmann said to expect some significant changes in his side hoping to bounce back on Sunday.

"We have had some discussions with some players and with the team," Nagelsmann told reporters. "The team cleared up some things internally as well. We looked at what to expect and developed an idea."

Morocco became the first African team to clinch a place at the World Cup with a 5-0 home win over Niger on Friday.
