PSG outlasts Bayern Munich in epic Champions League semifinal: Score, highlights
Paris Saint-Germain finished off Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate in the Champions League semifinals on Wednesday and the French side will face Arsenal in the final later this month.
After a nine-goal thriller in Paris, PSG pushed its advantage to 6-4 with Ousmane Dembele’s goal in the third minute at the Allianz Arena, putting the Germans on the back foot.
Bayern couldn’t find a way through until Harry Kane scored in stoppage time – but time ran out as the team pushed for an equalizer.
PSG will try to repeat as European champions against Arsenal in the final on May 30 in Budapest.
Here's how the match unfolded:
PSG vs Bayern Munich highlights
Harry Kane goal! Bayern needs one more
Who else but Harry Kane? The Englishman scored in stoppage time to cut Bayern's aggregate deficit to 6-5 in stoppage time – but it likely won't be enough.
65th minute: Manuel Neuer makes huge save
Bayern Munich's goalkeeper denied Desire Doue with a fine save to keep the Germans in the tie, still down 6-4 on aggregate.
PSG vs Bayern into the final half hour
Fifteen minutes into the first half and neither team has been able to find a breakthrough – PSG a goal that would almost certainly clinch the tie or Bayern a goal that could kick open the door for the two-goal comeback.
HALFTIME: PSG leads 6-4 on aggregate
It was a dramatic first half in Munich with Ousmane Dembele's goal in the third minute the only score. There was plenty of controversy in the first 45 minutes, and we should be in for a fiery second half time with PSG up 6-4 on aggregate.
Dembele goal! PSG 6, Bayern 4 on aggregate
After a nine-goal thriller in the first leg, it took less than three minutes for the first score in Munich with Ousmane Dembele striking for PSG, expanding the lead to 6-4 on aggregate.
We could be in for another barn-burner today.

Vincent Kompany wants Bayern-PSG to be 'unforgettable'
Bayern Munich players and fans are preparing for an unforgettable moment in Wednesday's semi-final second leg against PSG.
The French side, who won the trophy for the first time last year, earned a nail-biting 5-4 victory in the first leg when Bayern battled back from 5-2 down in the second half. Kompany told a press conference there was a feeling among his players and Bayern fans that they were ready to book a spot in the competition's final.
"There is this feeling that together we will take the next steps," Kompany said. "Few believed it at the start of the season that we will have a chance with the last home game to reach the Champions League final. Now we are here, we have experienced great moments and the fans believe we will make it and together we want to make this moment unforgettable."

PSG's Luis Enrique has 'brilliant memories' at Allianz Arena
PSG return to the scene of last year's Champions League triumph when they take on Bayern Munich in Wednesday's semi-final second leg, and manager Luis Enrique has plenty of memories of the venue should extra motivation be required. PSG won its long-awaited first Champions League trophy in a 5-0 win over Inter Milan last May.
"Of course we have brilliant memories here," Luis Enrique told reporters on Tuesday. "Coming back to Munich will always be a real pleasure because we can remember what we experienced last year.
"If I go a bit further back to when I was Barcelona coach, the year we won the Champions League we played in the semi-final here against Bayern in the second leg and we went on to win the final. So that is another source of motivation for me."
