Seth VertelneyFox Sports has announced that legendary striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will join the network's 2026 World Cup coverage.
The 44-year-old will serve as a studio analyst throughout the tournament, bringing his colorful personality and distinct commentary style to the American airwaves.
"Zlatan bringing his signature confidence, perspective and one-of-a-kind personality to our coverage is a huge win for fans, and Fox Sports is thrilled to welcome him as the newest addition to our FIFA World Cup 2026 broadcast team," Fox Sports president and executive producer Brad Zager said.
"We can’t wait to have him with us throughout the tournament, delivering insights like only Zlatan can, for what promises to be must-see television in his first time as a FIFA World Cup analyst."

Considered one of the best players of his generation, Ibrahimovic retired in 2023 after a trophy-laden career that included stops at AC Milan, Barcelona, Inter, Juventus, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and the LA Galaxy.
Since his playing career ended, the longtime Sweden international has been serving as an executive with AC Milan.
Ibrahimovic joins other big-name Fox hires for the World Cup, including Thierry Henry and host Rebecca Lowe.
Fox Sports will confirm its full broadcast lineup as the tournament gets closer.
The World Cup, hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada, will feature 48 teams for the first time, meaning there will be a record 104 matches in the competition.
