Mbappe delivered in France's opener against Senegal, a crucial strike in the 66th minute that put Les Blues ahead after a frustrating scoreless hour at MetLife Stadium.

He took his side back to the final in 2022 and scored only the second-ever hat trick in World Cup final history, but France lost to Argentina on penalty kicks.
Mbappe just finished his second season with Real Madrid after seven years at Paris Saint-Germain and scored 40 goals in all competitions both seasons, but the Spanish giants haven't win La Liga or the UEFA Champions League since his arrival. PSG meanwhile, has won back-to-back Champions League titles since his departure.
