The 2026 World Cup bracket is set! See knockout round matchups and path to final

ARLINGTON, TX — After weeks of matches, of teams striving to get into the next round and plenty of dramatic moments, the round of 32 is set. From here on out, every World Cup match is win or go home.

All three host countries, the United States, Mexico and Canada moved through - with Mexico perhaps cursing its luck at seemingly drawing the most difficult opponent of the trio, playing Ecuador in Mexico City on June 30.

Several tournament favorites have been drawn into the same quadrant, with France and Germany on a collision course in the round of 16. Others will privately enjoy their good fate, with defending champion Argentina drawing shock round of 32 team Cape Verde in the first match and moving on to face the winner of Australia and Egypt.

The round of 32 kicks off Sunday, June 28 when Canada meets South Africa before settling into a rhythm of three matches a day, concluding July 3.
