Serena Williams returns to Wimbledon on Tuesday, June 30, back on the hallowed grounds where she has won seven singles titles.

Williams, 44, will grace the courts at the All England Lawn Tennis Club to take on 20-year-old Maya Joint of Australia in her first singles match since the 2022 U.S. Open. That year, the tennis star fell to Ajla Tomljanović in three sets (7-5, 7-6, 6-1) before taking a four-year hiatus.

"In general, my expectations are definitely different for the first time in my career," Williams said June 28 about her current Wimbledon journey. "Not that I never enjoyed it before because I wouldn't be here today, but I'm gonna enjoy being out there."

What time is Serena Williams' match at Wimbledon?

Serena Williams is set to face Australian Maya Joint at approximately noon, ET.

Their match is the third scheduled match on Centre Court, following No. 3 Iga Swiatek vs. Taylor Townsend (8:30 a.m. ET) in women's singles and No. 2 Alexander Zverev vs. Alexander Blockx in men's singles.

Williams announced her comeback on June 1 after a four-year hiatus. She made her return to tennis at the Queen's Club in London, where she and doubles partner Victoria Mboko won their first-round match on June 9. The tennis great had to later withdraw from the competition when Mboko injured her knee in a singles match.
