UFC's White House spectacle racks up global viewership
Josh PeterGlobal viewership numbers for UFC’s event at the White House are in, and among the findings is this: The spectacle ranks among most-watched events in UFC history, according to a news release issued by Paramount+ on Friday, June 26.
Total viewership for UFC Freedom 250 hit 34 million, up from the 17 million Paramount+ reported among its subscribers in the United States and Latin America.
Paramount+ paid $7.7 billion for exclusive rights to be the UFC’s livestream home for seven years starting this past January. But the UFC retains the broadcast rights in other markets across the world and partners with other broadcasters.

Those markets include the United Kingdom, India, China and South Korea. Spain and France will not report figures until mid-July or later.
UFC events that generated more viewership than the White House event held June 14 could not be immediately confirmed. But events featuring Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey are believed to be at the top of the list.
The event was record-setting for Paramount, which reported total viewership more than tripled previous record – five million from the UFC’s debut on Paramount+ in January.
Paramount+ has about 80 million subscribers.
