Sprint offers half-price wireless plan deal
For the second straight year, Sprint says it will cut your wireless bill in half if you leave your current wireless carrier.

On Wednesday, the fourth largest carrier in the U.S. announced a deal claiming consumers can slash their wireless bills by 50% if they leave one of the company's three rivals: AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. Last year, Sprint offered a similar deal aimed at AT&T and Verizon customers.
Sprint is also rolling out its LTE Plus wireless network which they claim is faster than AT&T and Verizon.
"We’ve made tremendous strides with our network because we know consumers want wireless service that provides consistent speed and reliability,” said Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure in a statement.
The aggressive pricing follows significant changes at Sprint. Last month, Claure announced the company plans to cut up to $2.5 billion and lay off employees over the next six months.
Formerly the No. 3 carrier behind AT&T and Verizon, Sprint fell to fourth as T-Mobile gained ground with consumers through its Uncarrier wireless program.
