Several Snapchat users took to Twitter complaining the app continued to crash after a recent update.

"I updated snapchat and now it’s crashing every time I try to open it," read a tweet from a Snapchat user who goes by the name @MegWilb1996.

Other users on Twitter reported issues with the iOS app crashing once they login.

In a statement on Twitter, Snapchat said it has released an update fixing the problem.

Initial reports of outages surfaced just after 7 a.m. ET on Monday, reports Down Detector, a website tracking online outages.
