Exploding running robot at Humanoid Games becomes the perfect meme

We've gotten so much out of the 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games, mostly with running robots that have rammed into walls or fallen apart.

We have to concentrate on the latter here. A video showing a robot falling apart mid-dash during a race is the latest dramatic moment from the event, and of course people on X (formerly Twitter) had to turn it into a meme, with some fantasy football jokes and such.

Here's a roundup of some of the best memes we saw of this poor exploding robot, who joins his fellow virtual athlete who ran right into a wall.

Oof. That's got to hurt.
