VENICE BEACH, Calif. — Recently we asked our Twitter feed and folks we met out here to name the top 5 apps you'd put on a new phone, and the choices had a familiar ring:
Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Snapchatall highlighted the list.
But after the piece ran, we kept on hearing from folks. How could you leave off Dropbox? What about Skydrive? And Amazon Kindle?
And how could you forget App Shopper? It's the app that "keeps track of apps you have," wrote Jody Lynn Nye, who lives near Chicago.
