Here are some considerations to take into account when deciding which Spectrum Internet plan to go with.

• Price. Consider your budget and internet needs when deciding on a plan. With Spectrum, monthly rates start at $30 (100 Mbps), $50 (500 Mbps) $70 (1,000 Mbps) or $90 (2,000 Mbps). Keep in mind that prices may increase after the promotional period ends.
• Online activities. Take your online activities and internet use into account when deciding on upload and download speeds. Do you stream, work remotely and game on multiple devices at once? Then you'll likely need a plan with download speeds of 500 Mbps or more.
• Number of connected devices. While Spectrum’s 500 plan can support many online activities, numerous connected devices could result in Wi-Fi lag. Households with around 20 devices should consider the 1 GB option.

Spectrum Internet® Gig is available starting at $70 a month, and offers the most seamless online connection. While the 1,000 Mbps download speed is not necessary for the average home user, the speed can prove useful for the ultra-connected smart home.

Pros:

• High-speed internet connection.
• Great for ultra-connected homes with 20+ connected devices.
• Good upload speeds if you frequently need to upload large files, attachments, videos or photos.

Cons:

• It may be unnecessarily high speeds if you have under 20 connected devices in your home. You'll be able to spend less with the 500 Mbps plan.

Spectrum cable bundles

Spectrum offers internet and TV bundles at promotional rates, so expect TV prices to increase by around $20 a month after the promotional period. TV service also includes Broadcast TV surcharges. You can also bundle a mobile plan with your Spectrum Internet package.
