Is Disney World cheaper in summer?

This summer, yes.

Disney World is offering two free bonus park days and hotel nights to guests who book non-discounted Disney vacation packages with at least four park days and four nights at select Disney World hotels. This deal must be booked by Feb. 15 and is valid for most stays starting between May 26 and Sept. 15.

Atlernately, guests can get up to 30% off stays at select Disney resort hotels from May 1 through Oct. 4.

All guests staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels this summer will get free water park entry on their arrival date. Guests can choose between Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach. One-day water park tickets usually start at $64 for adults. This perk is valid between May 26 and Sept. 8. That's also when the resort will offer added experiences as part of its Cool Kids Summer, which first debuted last year.

For the biggest bang for your buck, time summer trips around the cheapest park dates in August. Just know that it will be hot.

Disney guests can catch a break from the Florida heat in indoor spaces like The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT.
