Air Canada plans new aircraft interiors featuring lie-flat seats, privacy panels and enhanced in-flight entertainment.
Kathleen WongAir Canada announced a complete redesign of its long-haul cabins on new aircraft, meant to provide a more elevated travel experience.
The Montreal-based airline unveiled the new design as "its most significant cabin investment" at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany, on April 14, according to a news release. The airline said the reimagined cabins mark its first major expression of its new Glowing Heart design standard, inspired by Canada's natural landscapes.
It will roll out this summer on its new Airbus A321XLR and Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft. The rest of Air Canada's fleet is also slated for interior upgrades.
