Lucia ChengThunderstorms have been rolling through Iowa all throughout the weekend. The final round of severe weather is forecasted to end after Monday, May 18.
Stay aware everyone – there is still an enhanced risk (3 out of 5) of heavy rain, tornadoes and large hail that could damage you or your property, the National Weather Service press release said.

Severe thunderstorms also brought striking displays of lightning across Iowa. Storms are expected to continue throughout the rest of the day on Monday, May 18.
Large hail rains down in southwest Iowa
Hail in and around Stanton, IA were up to 2 inches wide. The hail threat in southwest Iowa will diminish as the storm moves east on May 18.
