5 EV deals shoppers can take advantage of as Toyota cuts prices
Keith Laing- Automakers are offering significant discounts on new electric vehicles amid a shifting market.
- Toyota is offering up to $7,000 in cash or lease deals for its 2026 bZ electric crossover SUV.
- Other notable deals include up to $10,000 cash back on a 2025 Kia EV6 and $8,000 toward a 2026 Honda Prologue.
Car shoppers could buy or lease a new 2026 Toyota bZ electric crossover SUV for around $30,000 as the Japanese automaker moves aggressively to discount their EV while other automakers are rapidly retreating from the space.
Toyota said in a post on its website that car buyers could get $5,000 customers cash off the purchase price of a brand new bZ, which starts at $34,900. Toyota said it is also offering $7,000 in lease cash for the same vehicle. The offers are valid until March 31.
The deal comes as Toyota has shed off years of criticism from environmental about its reliance on hybrids instead of fully electric cars with the announcement for four new electric models, including a fully electric Toyota Highlander SUV the company says will be available in 2027.
It also comes as several of Toyota's main competitors are killing off low selling EV models left and right.
