Corey Feldman reveals diagnosis after emergency hospitalization
KiMi RobinsonCorey Feldman has been discharged after spending the night at a hospital due to a medical emergency he'd experienced on a flight.
The "Goonies" and "The Lost Boys" actor, 54, is "doing much better and is now out of the hospital," his publicist told USA TODAY Tuesday, June 16, in a statement. He was diagnosed with "a really bad case of food poisoning," according to the publicist.
"Corey wants to thank everyone for all of the love and well wishes. He has definitely seen a lot of the messages and really appreciates everything," the statement added.
He "looks forward" to recovering in the run-up to the release of his latest single, "What Am I Here 4," out June 22, and putting on a set of performances in Southern California July 25-26 to celebrate his birthday.

In an X post shared in the late evening of June 15, Feldman thanked fans for "the love & concern," adding that though the medical event was "def scary" he believed he would be OK. "All signs look good as of now," he wrote.
The former child star was met by paramedics after landing at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, June 15, and was transported to a hospital. He had been traveling home after spending time in the Midwest for the "Stand by Me" 40th anniversary tour with costars Jerry O’Connell and Wil Wheaton, which stopped at The Chicago Theatre on Sunday, June 14.
Who is Corey Feldman? Career spans music, reality TV – including 'Dancing with the Stars'

Since his first credited role in 1978 on the Normal Lear show "America 2-Night," Feldman has spent decades in the limelight due to his film and music careers, as well as his childhood friendship with Michael Jackson and work with frequent onscreen collaborator Corey Haim, alongside whom he was dubbed "The Two Coreys."
He debuted his first single, "Something in Your Eyes," in 1989 for the "Dream a Little Dream" soundtrack and went on to build his music catalog with songs such as "Ascension Millennium," and the Billboard-charting "Go 4 It!" as well as a 2008 album with his band Truth Movement that released through his label, CiFi Records. Feldman also toured with nü metal band Limp Bizkit as an opening act in 2024.

As he went on to land major roles in "Stand by Me," "The Lost Boys," "The Goonies," "The 'Burbs" (and its Peacock reboot series) and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," Feldman allegedly experienced private hardships, including abuse by a number of men in Hollywood. The actor himself was also reportedly the subject of misconduct allegations in 2020, though no legal action was taken.
Feldman's experiences as the victim of sexual abuse, as well as his addiction recovery and reaction to the deaths of Haim and Jackson, were detailed in his 2013 autobiography "Coreyography: A Memoir."
He and dancing pro Jenna Johnson were among the first to be eliminated on Season 34 of "Dancing with the Stars" in September 2025.
