Bunnie Xo compares Jelly Roll marriage to 10-year prison sentence
Bunnie Xo isn't holding back as her marriage to country music star Jelly Roll is nearing its end.
In a clip from an upcoming episode of her "Dumb Blonde" podcast, Bunnie Xo, 46, quipped that she got out of a 10-year prison sentence, referring to her marriage with the "Need A Favor" rapper. She made the remark while discussing a direct message she received on social media from a man asking her out on a date.
The message read: "Hey, pretty lady, I'm about to get out of prison on a 10-year bid next year. Please let me go out and have a time with you. That's all I ask. I promise it will be worth it. Hit me back."
The podcaster said she didn't mind that the messenger was in prison, but clarified she wasn't a fan of the "let me go out and have a time with you" remark. Cohost Meme Shahan jokingly replied, "I mean, after 10 years, he might need it."
"I mean, same," Bunnie said while laughing. "I just got out of a 10-year bid too. … What are we talking about?"

Jokes aside, Bunnie Xo, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, has made it clear that she and Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, had a strong relationship after the Grammy-winning musician filed for divorce on May 18 after separating on May 9, according to a divorce filing.
"I know that my husband is a great artist. I know that he is an entity all on himself; I know I am an entity all on myself, but there will never be another 'Jelly and Bunnie,'" she said on a June 18 episode of her "Dumb Blonde" podcast. "What we built together as a team, the reason we are who we are is because of our love story."

Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll still plan to have a baby after the divorce
On a June 18 episode, Bunnie said she and Jelly Roll are "still having a baby together" as planned through in vitro fertilization as they settle their divorce.
"So, we have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered," she said. "We're going to co-parent together. J is my best friend. Like, this isn't what you guys think this is. Nobody cheated on the other person. It's literally just we served our purpose for each other."
While fans have long highlighted the couple's tumultuous past, she said their future is far more important. "Being happy and healthy and best friends through this is probably the biggest gift that we could have given each other."
"He wants the same thing. We're just going to raise a little nugget as one happy family," she added.
The former couple has previously opened up about wanting to welcome children together through IVF. The artist has two children from previous relationships, including 18-year-old Bailee Ann and 9-year-old Noah Buddy.
