Will 'Marshals' return for Season 2? What we know so far

Season 1 of "Marshals" is prepared to go out with a bang after Marshals unearth a drug cartel operating from Broken Rock.
The group, which includes Dutton family scion from "Yellowstone," Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), "race(s) to discover who's targeting" Broken Rock chairman Thomas Rainwater (Gil Birmingham) after Kayce protects him in an assassination attempt, according to the season finale preview.
"When a militia attacks, Kayce realizes the conspiracy is larger than anyone imagined," it adds.
'Marshals': Stream on Paramount+

In "Marshals" Kayce Dutton bid goodbye to the Yellowstone Ranch and joined an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, "combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana."
Kayce and his teammates "balance the high psychological cost of serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence with their duty to their families."

Will 'Marshals' have a Season 3?
Yes. Shortly after the series premiered, Paramount+ announced "Marshals" will return for a second season.
Paramount+ said the "Yellowstone" spin off was the most-streamed CBS series premiere ever, adding the March 1 premiere of "Marshals" was watched by 20.6 million viewers on Paramount platforms within seven days of its release.
When will Season 2 of 'Marshals' release?
A release date for Season 2 of "Marshals" has not yet been announced, and it is not yet known if production on the second season has begun. CBS did not immediately respond to USA TODAY's request for additional information.
Season 1 of "Marshals" premiered on the CBS Television Network and Paramount+ on March 1 earlier this year, and based on other Taylor Sheridan-helmed shows like "Landman," fans can expect the new season to come within one to two years.

Season 1 of "Marshals" is available to stream on Paramount+, with the season finale scheduled to air on the CBS Television Network and stream on Paramount+ for Premium plan subscribers at 8 p.m. ET / PT on Sunday, May 24.
