Buc-ee's opens its first Ohio location. See which states are next.
Correction: A previous version of this story misidentified the Huber Heights location as the most northern Buc-ee's location.
Buc-ee's has opened its first location in Ohio and has other openings on the horizon, marking the latest expansion for the wildly popular travel center.
The grand opening on Monday, April 6, in Huber Heights, Ohio, comes after several delays, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer, a part of the USA TODAY Network. An initial opening date was scheduled for December 2025, but unfavorable weather pushed the project back approximately six months.
Buc-ee's has grown out of its home state of Texas in recent years, with the Huber Heights opening marking one of the northernmost locations so far.
Founded in 1982, the company has become one of the Lone Star State's most recognized exports. The sprawling gas stations have a cult-like following centered on their preternaturally clean restrooms and unique culinary offerings.
Here's where Buc-ee's next plans to open new locations.

Where is Buc-ee's opening next in 2026?

Crissy Gonzales, Buc-ee's media coordinator, confirmed the opening dates for the following locations:
- Goodyear, Arizona: June 22
- San Marcos, Texas: July 27
The company's contact page states that locations in Benton, Arkansas, and Murfreesboro, Tennessee, will also open this year, but doesn't provide specific dates. Gonzalez previously told USA TODAY that the Benton location would open in late summer or early fall and that the Murfreesboro location will open before the end of the year.
USA TODAY has reached out to Buc-ee's to clarify if opening dates have been set.
