Buc-ee's opening in Arizona soon. See where the beaver is going next
James PowelThe beaver is almost ready in the desert.
Buc-ee's is set to open its next location in Arizona, just outside of Phoenix, in just over a month as the Texas gas station and convenience store chain continues to expand its footprint beyond the South.
Buc-ee's opened its first Ohio location in Huber Heights earlier this year and opened its westernmost location in Colorado in 2024. It anticipates adding inaugural locations in Louisiana, Kansas and Wisconsin by the end of 2027.
Founded in 1982, the company has become one of the Lone Star State's most recognized exports. The sprawling gas stations have a cult-like following centered on their preternaturally clean restrooms and unique culinary offerings. It currently has 55 locations across 12 states.
