Chipotle is bringing back its popular Honey Chicken. Here's when

Chipotle is bringing back its popular Chipotle Honey Chicken protein option, the fast casual restaurant chain announced on Tuesday, April 21.

The protein, which debuted in 2025 and had the highest order rates of any limited-time offering in Chipotle's history, will be available in restaurants across the U.S., Canada and the U.K. beginning April 28.

"Chipotle Honey Chicken set a new standard for our limited-time offerings, and guests started asking for it back almost immediately," said Stephanie Perdue, interim chief marketing officer at Chipotle, in a news release.

The protein features freshly grilled chicken marinated in smoky Chipotle peppers and finished with a touch of pure honey, according to the company.

"Chipotle Honey Chicken was our top performing limited time offer in test markets and we're excited for guests to taste this bold, new protein with their go-to order," said Chris Brandt, Chipotle's former chief brand officer, in 2025 when the protein was first launched nationwide. "The delicate balance of heat and a touch of sweet pairs perfectly with our real ingredients prepared fresh every day."

To celebrate the return of the protein, the chain is offering free delivery on Chipotle Honey Chicken orders placed online or via the Chipotle app from April 28 through May 11.

For customers trying the honey chicken for the first time, Nevielle Panthaky, Senior Vice President of Culinary at Chipotle, recommends ordering a bowl with the chicken, white rice, black beans, light chili-corn salsa and guac.
