Chick-fil-A is bringing these seasonal faves for the summer
Summer is almost here, and Chick-fil-A is bringing back some seasonal favorites this year, including a popular dessert and a beloved tradition.
The fast casual restaurant chain announced May 28 it is bringing back the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich, its line of Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages and its summertime peach-flavored treats, including the peach milkshake. All items will be available at restaurants nationwide beginning June 8.
The Honey Pepper Pimento sandwich will be available for a limited time with an original or spicy filet, according to the chain. The sandwich features pimento cheese, mild pickled jalapeños and a drizzle of honey on a toasted bun.


The Pineapple Dragonfruit lineup of drinks is available with lemonade, Frosted Lemonade, iced tea or as a Sunjoy, according to Chick-fil-A, and the chain is also introducing a new Pineapple Dragonfruit & Sprite drink. The Peach Milkshake and Peach Frosted Lemonade also return to menus nationwide for a limited time.
"This summer is a celebration of the fun, flavors and experiences our Guests love the most and ask us to bring back, year after year," said Khalilah Cooper, vice president of brand strategy, advertising and media for Chick-fil-A, in a news release.
Cow Appreciation Day makes its return this summer
Chick-fil-A is bringing back its popular Cow Appreciation Day on July 14 this year, reintroducing a beloved tradition for Chick-fil-A fans.
On the day, customers who visit participating restaurants nationwide dressed in cow-inspired spots and attire will receive a free entrée from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. local time, while supplies last, according to Chick-fil-A. Kids who dress up will receive a new "Cow Kart" toy to celebrate the day.
"The return of Cow Appreciation Day gives longtime fans a chance to relive a favorite summer tradition, while introducing a whole new generation to the fun of The Cows," Chick-fil-A said in a news release.
