Jersey Mike's to open new locations in these cities. See list

Jersey Mike’s, the New Jersey-based sub shop that recently topped the top-rated quick-service restaurant list for the first time, is opening more locations.

After dethroning Chick-fil-A and its 11-year run atop the American Customer Satisfaction Index's ranking, Jersey Mike's, which has more than 3,300 locations in the United States, said it plans to open more stores in states such as California, Arkansas and Illinois. 

USA TODAY contacted the Jersey Mike's on Wednesday, June 17, to find out when and where new locations will open, but did not immediately receive a response. However, the chain's website on Thursday, June 18, showed multiple restaurants are in development.

Here's what we know about Jersey Mike's opening new locations.

Where’s Jersey Mike’s opening new restaurants?

There are just over 130 Jersey Mike’s locations in development, mostly in California, New York and Texas, according to Jersey Mike’s website.

A Jersey Mike’s location is slated to open on June 24 in Manteca, California, Gary Singh, mayor of Manteca, told USA TODAY this week.

Another Jersey Mike's restaurant is opening in White Lake, Michigan, about 50 miles northwest of Detroit, Sean P. O’Neil, a community development director for White Lake Township, confirmed to USA TODAY this week. Construction should start within the next few weeks, O’Neil said on June 18. 

“I would expect that this location could be open for business in the winter/spring of 2027,” he added

In Folsom, California, city officials confirmed that they have received plans for a Jersey Mike’s location within the Alder Creek Marketplace shopping center on Alder Creek Parkway. Construction of three of the commercial shell buildings could be completed as early as December 2026, Christine Brainerd, a spokesperson for the city, told USA TODAY on June 18. 

Although dates weren't shared, USA TODAY confirmed with officials in the following cities that a Jersey Mike's location is coming to their city: Bedford, New Hampshire; Brunswick, Maryland; Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Cortlandville and Greenport, New York; Council Bluffs, Iowa; El Dorado County, California; Kannapolis, North Carolina; Minnetonka, Minnesota; Post Falls, Idaho; Princeton, Illinois; and Sheridan, Wyoming.
