The calendar just recently flipped from March to April, however some retailers are already planning for holidays that are months away.

Home Depot unveiled its "Halfway to Halloween" limited collection on April 8, which the company touts as being "bigger, bolder, and spookier than ever."

This year's collection includes items such as a 9-foot LED T-Rex, an 8.5-foot animated LED knight and a 6.5-foot LED snowman, among many other items, according to the hardware retailer.

Additionally, the company's viral signature 12-foot skeleton, Skelly, is getting an upgrade with new features including the ability to record voice lines with voice modulation with an app on your smart phone. Skelly is not part of "Halfway to Halloween" collection but will be available for purchase later this year.

Home Depot's full Halloween drop usually arrives in late July or early August. In 2025, Home Depot's Halloween line dropped online and in-app on Aug. 4, with items being available in-store later in the fall.

When is Halloween 2026?

Luckily for spooky fans, Halloween – which is always on Oct. 31 – falls on a Saturday this year. The last time Halloween fell on a Saturday was 2020.

What is Home Depot's Skelly?

Skelly is the Home Depot's signature 12-foot-tall skeleton figurine that first went viral in 2020.

The company unveiled Ultra Skelly in 2025, a 6.5-foot tall version of the original Skelly equipped with Bluetooth capabilities that allow users to connect him to their smartphones and direct his movements, choose his light and LED eye displays and select from five pre-loaded phrases.
