As the United States continues its war with Iran, the cost of fuel has driven a major airline to pause flights from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles.
American Airlines will suspend their daily flights from Pittsburgh International Airport to Los Angeles in late summer through early autumn, according to a spokesperson for the airport.
The decision comes amidst negotiations between the U.S. and Iran, with the Strait of Hormuz remaining mostly blocked to maritime traffic, according to Reuters.
