Who's running for the Iowa House and Senate in the Des Moines metro?

The field of candidates running for the Iowa Legislature is set for the June 2 primary election.
Candidates for the Iowa House and Senate had to file paperwork with the Iowa Secretary of State by 5 p.m. on March 13 to qualify for the ballot.
Between retirements, primary challenges to sitting lawmakers and bids for higher office, Polk County is set for a shakeup in its representation at the Iowa Capitol this year.
