Mariners at Astros picks and predictions
Prediction
Astros 5, Mariners 3
Moneyline
The ASTROS (+110) are worth a look at plus-money. Houston finally solved Seattle Wednesday, snapping an 0-6 skid this season and an 0-9 slide in the series since last September. Look for Houston to split this 4-game series as Seattle's Castillo has been absolutely brutal in 2026.
Run line/Against the spread
Backing Astros +1.5 (-155) isn't priced out of line if you're a little on the conservative side, you don't want to bet Houston straight up (SU), and you'd like a little bit of insurance.
As it stands, Houston is still just 1-9 SU in the past 10 tries against Seattle, and just 3-10 in the past 13 overall games at home. But, again, Castillo has been awfully giving this season.
Just don't bet more than 1½ UNITS combined between the Astros ML and their RL.
Over/Under
UNDER 9 (-105) is the lean, but go with a half-unit play at most.
The Under cashed in Wednesday's meeting, while going 2-1 in the first 3 games of this series. Plus, the Under is 4-1 in the past 5 games for the 'Stros.
The Under is also 4-1 in the M's last 5 games, while going 8-3 in the previous 11 outings, too.
