Final four food trucks up for vote in APP Readers' Choice contest

The end is near for our Readers' Choice Food Truck Contest.

After three rounds of voting, we are down to the final four.

The friendly competition features the trucks attending Monmouth Park Racetrack's first food festival of the season, the three-day Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival, happening Memorial Day weekend in Oceanport. Nearly three dozen trucks will serve everything from seafood and tacos to ice cream and old-fashioned sodas, and our bracket-style contest will determine your favorite.

The winner will be announced on the first day of the festival, Saturday, May 23.

Here are the rules:

• Voting for Round 4 begins Monday, May 18, and ends at 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, May 19.
• You can vote daily — once per bracket, per round.
• The results will be shared Wednesday, when the final round begins.

• Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival: Saturday, May 23, through Monday, May 25
• Italian Festival & Wine Tasting: Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26
• Latin Festival: Tacos & Tequila: Sunday, Aug. 2
• Surf & Turf Seafood Festival: Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 15 and 16
• BBQ & Craft Beer Festival: Saturday through Monday, Sept. 5 to 7
• Food Trucktemberfest: Saturday, Sept. 12

Festival admission is included with racetrack admission, which costs $7 for general admission and is free for children 12 and younger. Food prices vary by vendor. There is no charge for parking, and the festivals take place rain or shine.
