The summer movie season has started at the cinema, but streaming services are also pretty serious with the star power they're rolling out between now and Labor Day.
A new Jennifer Lopez romantic comedy? You won't see that at a movie theater – just boot up your Netflix. The couch is also where you can catch John Krasinski's "Jack Ryan" return, John Travolta's directorial debut, comedies featuring John Cena and Kevin Hart, and the latest whodunit with Millie Bobby Brown as Sherlock Holmes' little sister.

'Jack Ryan: Ghost War' (May 20)

John Krasinski reprises his role as the action-hero CIA analyst in a continuation of the spy thriller series. Now a civilian, Jack gets pulled back into the espionage game and teams with whip-smart MI6 operative Emma Marlowe (Sienna Miller) to deal with a resurrected black-ops squad that's gone rogue.

'Ladies First' (May 22)

In the satirical comedy, Sacha Baron Cohen plays a successful and chauvinistic advertising CEO who lives for power and casual flings. An accidental bonk on the head knocks him out and he wakes up in a parallel universe dominated by females, including his no-nonsense superior (Rosamund Pike).

'Miss You, Love You' (May 29)

The dark comedy features Allison Janney as a brusque widow who has to plan her husband's funeral with her estranged son's assistant (Andrew Rannells). But these total strangers find a bond navigating grief, buried secrets and a host of resentment, so much so he becomes the woman's surrogate kid of sorts.

'Propeller One-Way Night Coach' (May 29)

John Travolta's directorial debut is the fantastical journey of a young airplane enthusiast (Clark Shotwell) on a cross-country flight with his mom (Kelly Eviston-Quinnett) to Hollywood. The boy meets charming flight attendants (including Ella Bleu Travolta) and experiences stopovers as well as first class in a life-changing trip.

'Office Romance' (June 5)

"Ted Lasso" standout Brett Goldstein stars in the romantic comedy as a new lawyer at an airline company who falls in love with the CEO (Jennifer Lopez). Work dinners and office flirtation turn into a relationship they keep secret from their co-workers, but it could also cost the boss her job.

'Voicemails for Isabelle' (June 19)

The rom-com stars Zoey Deutch as an aspiring pastry chef who manages the grief of her little sister's death by continuing to leave her voicemails about her chaotic San Francisco life. Unbeknownst to her, the phone number was reassigned to an Austin real estate agent (Nick Robinson), and he's the one getting these funny confessionals.

'In the Hand of Dante' (June 24)

Director Julian Schnabel's drama features parallel stories and dual roles for Oscar Isaac. He stars as a modern-day author hired by a mafia don to steal Dante's handwritten manuscript of "The Divine Comedy," and also plays the legendary 14th-century writer who seeks the inspiration to craft his most significant work.

'Little Brother' (June 26)

John Cena wrestles with chaos in his latest comedy. He stars as a popular real-estate agent who's meticulously curated his personal and professional worlds, but it all comes undone when his oddball "little brother" (Eric André) shows up out of nowhere.

'Enola Holmes 3' (July 1)

Millie Bobby Brown reprises her role as Sherlock Holmes' spark plug of a little sister for a third time. Henry Cavill is back as Sherlock as well in the new adventure, which sees the younger Holmes traveling to Malta for another mystery and taking the next steps in her romantic relationship with Tewkesbury (Louis Partridge).

'The Dink' (July 24)

In the underdog sports comedy, Jake Johnson plays former tennis prodigy Dusty, who's now teaching unruly kids at a country club owned by his father (Ed Harris). The aggravation of an old injury leads Dusty to trying out pickleball, and he becomes a proponent of the craze, putting him at odds with his dad.

'72 Hours' (July 24)

The comedy stars Kevin Hart as a 40-year-old executive who's accidentally added to a text chain for a group of 20-somethings (including Marcello Hernández and Mason Gooding) planning a wild three-day bachelor party. Instead of ignoring the message, he partakes in the madness in an effort to save his flagging career.

'The Last House' (Aug. 7)

Oscar best actor nominee Wagner Moura and Greta Lee star in the sci-fi thriller about a family of four who are suddenly, and mysteriously, trapped in their house. They have to work together to conserve resources to survive and keep themselves safe from the looming threat that confines them.

'Don’t Say Good Luck' (Aug. 14)

In the coming-of-age dramedy produced by Adam Sandler, his daughter Sunny Sandler stars as a teenager who snags the lead in her high school musical and is ready for the spotlight. But she encounters more drama at home than on stage.

'The Whisper Man' (Aug. 28)

Based on the Alex North novel, the thriller stars Adam Scott as a recently widowed crime writer looking to start over with his young son when the boy is kidnapped. A connection to an imprisoned serial killer arises, and the author reaches out to his estranged dad (Robert De Niro), the retired cop who arrested the murderer years ago.

'They Fight' (summer)

André Holland stars in the drama as Walt, a reformed ex-con who returns to his roots in Washington, DC, and visits a place he swore never to return, his old boxing gym. He reconnects with his mentor Slim (Wendell Pierce) and also meets young fighters who are battling their own personal demons.
