Rob Reiner’s death sparks interest in his films. Here's how to watch

The death of famed film director Rob Reiner has brought renewed interest in some of his biggest films, including some beloved Stephen King adaptations.

Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife, Michele Singer, 68, were found dead in their Brentwood neighborhood home on Dec. 14.

Their son, Nick Reiner, has been taken into police custody and is being held on $4 million bail, according to Los Angeles Sheriff's Department records viewed by USA TODAY. The 32-year-old was arrested for his alleged involvement in his parents' murder. The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office announced on Dec. 16 that Nick Reiner would be charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

Reiner enjoyed a remarkable career spanning decades, leaving his mark both behind the camera as a director and in front of it as an actor.

A New York native, he began as a television writer before gaining fame as Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the groundbreaking sitcom "All in the Family."
