Panera unveils its first-ever value menu. See the options.
Julia GomezPanera is introducing its first-ever value menu, which includes soup, salads, and sandwiches.
Panera's new Mix and Match menu will give customers the option to purchase half a sandwich, half a serving of salad, or a cup of soup, according to a news release emailed to USA TODAY. Customers can order two to 10 menu items and get one free side per order.
There are 11 options to choose from, including a rotating seasonal item, and each retails for $4.99.
The new menu will be available starting Wednesday, Feb. 25. The addition comes as more fast-food restaurants, like McDonald's and Taco Bell, add value options to their menu.
Here's what to know about the new menu and what you can order.

Different from the 'You Pick Two' option
While similar in that it lets you pick more than one menu item, the value menu is different from Panera's "You Pick Two" option.
The new value menu has 10 options, and the "You Pick Two" meal option offers more choices. The price point is also different. Everything on the value menu is priced at $4.99, but the "You Pick Two" option ranges from $4.99 to $7.89, excluding tax.
In the "You Pick Two" option, customers can select up to two items, while the value menu option allows customers to select up to 10 items.
