Five Guys is redoing its BOGO burger offer. How to get the deal.

Updated March 10, 2026, 9:52 a.m. ET

Five Guys is offering another burger promotion for its 40th birthday.

The fast food chain is bringing back its buy-one, get-one burger deal, which started March 9 and is set to end March 12, according to a news release.

It comes after its BOGO deal last month, which drew pushback after the company "underestimated" the overwhelming response. In a Feb. 18 statement, Five Guys said some locations ran out of food and had to close, and that some customers couldn't redeem the deal on the app or online.

Five Guys also apologized to both customers and staff members, saying, "We are truly sorry that we didn't meet your or our expectations." To show appreciation to its employees, the company is giving them an estimated $1.5 million in bonuses.

How to get the latest Five Guys BOGO deal

According to its latest announcement, posted March 9, the burger joint is asking fans for a redo: "Our teams have been hard at work replenishing fresh product and making the preparations we should have made the first time around."

Customers can only redeem the deal at FiveGuys.com or the Five Guys app with the code FGAFTERPARTY. When you buy a regular-priced burger, the second of the same or lesser value is free. The promotion is not available for in-store orders.

"We were genuinely humbled by your response," founder Jerry Murrell said in a statement. "Forty years is a long time, and the outpouring of support for our 40th birthday reminded us why we love what we do."
